APPLICATION PROCESS
The Southern Tier West Development Foundation accepts Letters of Inquiry from eligible applicants throughout the calendar year. Inquiries are screened by the Southern Tier West Development Foundation's Project Review Committee to determine eligibility and compliance with application procedures. After screening, applicants are invited to submit a full proposal for Board review. Letters of Inquiry should include the following:

- Name and Address of Applicant.
- Name of contact person(s), telephone number, fax number, and (if applicable) e-mail.
- One paragraph summarizing the project's mission.
- One paragraph summarizing the purpose of the request.
- The problem or need being addressed.
- An indication (plan) on how the problem identified will be addressed.
- One paragraph describing the relationship between the project's mission and the purpose of the request.
- A description of the plan for evaluating the success of the project or activity(ies) of which funds are being sought.
- A statement as to how the project will be sustained after Southern Tier West Development Foundation funding.
- Project timetable (beginning and ending dates).
- A one-page project budget showing all other non-Southern Tier West Development Foundation sources.
- Most recent completed full year financial statement.
- Current annual operating budget.
