Dear Grant Seeker:

Welcome to the Southern Tier West Development Foundation. We are a community-based endowment that matches the philanthropic interests of donors with unmet community needs. We strive to enhance the quality of life for residents in the three-county area through leadership and innovation in identifying and responding to the community's continuing and changing priorities. We operate exclusively within Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua County.

Southern Tier West Development Foundation builds a better community for everyone through philanthropy by stimulating growth and providing careful stewardship of the community's endowment, by engaging donors, recipients, and other partners, and by building upon and mobilizing community assets and resources

As an endowment builder, we provide an avenue for people with philanthropic interests to easily and effectively support the community issues they care about.

As a grantmaker, we strive to be sensitive to the challenges and needs of the region and respond in a productive and lasting way.
